Enhanced photographs, is just another way of saying retouched photographs, or the latest phrase "photoshopped".

We have all seen enhanced photographs in glossy magazines. Spots, wrinkles are all retouched to make the person look nicer. Unwanted objects are removed as they detract from the main subject.
