When I received a phone call from the owner of these two photographs of a Grenadier Guardsman from the 1890's, asking if I could restore them. Little did I know that I would be presented with these two badly damaged photographs.

Not only were pieces missing, no one knew what should have been there. We all knew it was a hat, but what type of hat. I realized that I had some research to do. Finally I found the right one and was able to complete the restoration.
